Our story begins in the early 1930s, when the Khalil family first embarked on their diamond journey—trading rough diamonds deep in the heart of Sierra Leone. This was the beginning of a journey that has taken the family for the four generations to come across the African continent on a quest for these captivating gems; eventually settling a base in Antwerp, the world's diamond capital, in 1975 and expanding further into diamond mining and manufacturing.

Levuma, a remote village in the southeastern part of Sierra Leone, bears great significance to the family as it is the place where their first plot of land was allocated to mine diamonds, shaping the family history to this day.
